Welcome

When you run for School Board the question most often asked is, "why are you running for School Board?" My response was always "because I believe I have something to offer". That is the same reason why I'm running for NYS Assembly. I believe I have something to offer the residents of the 124th Assembly District.

My background and experience in business will be an asset to the 124th District. Some families in our district are struggling and you have to understand their plight. Having struggled recently myself, as a small business owner I had to close my Ad Agency in August 2017.

The district faces challenges with a shrinking population and stagnant job growth. It will take a collective effort from elected officials, residents and business leaders to attract and maintain jobs and residents to the region.

Erin's Law' passes: NY Legislature OKs child sex abuse prevention classes in schools

June 22, 2019  by Robert Harding - Auburnpub.com

In the waning hours of the legislative session, the state Assembly put New York closer to becoming the 37th state to adopt "Erin's Law."

By a 143-1 vote, the Assembly passed legislation early Friday requiring schools to instruct students in kindergarten through eighth grade on preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Our Assemblyman was the only "NO" vote on this important piece of legislation. It also passed the NYS Senate unanimously. This law would require schools to instruct students from K-8th grades on preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation. This vital law empowers our children to recognize and speak up if they have been abused and Chris Friend voted NO.

My Closing Argument

My latest commercial on why you should vote for an upstate Democrat and why it would benefit the region.

Since we are unable to get out and campaign I figured I would create a few videos to keep in touch with potential voters.
